Bill of Materials (B.O.M.) Schedule Exporter | Fabrication Tools for Revit

B.O.M. is abbreviation of Bill of Materials. This tool is used to export the bill of materials Revit schedules as Microsoft Excel files.

1. Click on the B.O.M. tool.

2. A dialog box will ask for the details of the new Excel file.

B.O.M. (Bill of Materials) Pop-Up
  • Enter a name.

B.O.M. (Bill of Materials) Pop-Up - File Name
  • Navigate to a location where the Excel file will be saved.

B.O.M. (Bill of Materials) Pop-Up - File Directory
  • Choose if you want to export your schedules in a single document or multiple documents.

B.O.M. (Bill of Materials) Pop-Up - Single or Multiple Document(s)
  • Select the schedule(s) you want to export. For easier navigation, there is a Search field you can use to find the necessary schedule(s).

  • When you are done with your selection click on the Excel icon.

B.O.M. (Bill of Materials) Pop-Up - Export as Excel

3. A pop-up message will ask if you want to open the newly generated Excel file.
